Oh you guys. I have been bursting to share David, Ann, and Norway with you.

Before we begin, let me just explain a little about Ann. This girl is a GIRL BOSS. Someone I greatly look up to for her drive, ambition, creativity, and kindness. She moved to Iceland a few years ago and founded Your Adventure Wedding and Iceland Wedding Planner. The girl plans and photographs insanely awesome adventure weddings in Iceland and other places all over the world. We met at a workshop a few years ago and have kept in touch ever since. Somewhere along the way, I went to Iceland a few times to assist Ann in photographing her weddings. One wedding was waterfalls, grass covered houses, lighthouse, golden beach, lava fields, and a sea arch. The next wedding was a secret waterfall, lunch in a cave, glacier, black rock beach, and a beautiful canyon. So when I say she plans adventure weddings, THE GIRL PUTS ON A CRAZY GOOD SHOW.

That puts us to Norway. And David. Somewhere ELSE along the way, Ann met David, a wonderful, funny, awesome Icelandic man. They fell in love and lived happily ever after. Except WAIT. They needed an adventure of their own too!

Enter the Lofoten Islands, Norway…a magical place of huge mountains, beautiful fjords, and colorful houses dotting the landscape. Travis and I spent the week with David and Ann exploring, photographing, adventuring, and of course, getting married. I’m excited to share their elopement photos with you and they’re coming very soon, but first, exploration 🙂
