Sweetie, you have brightened my world in 2011! I am so glad I met you and that I will now have to find ways to always get to Michigan from Brazil to have photos taken by my favorite portraitist! Love and laughs for the holidays—
I thought this was your slow time of the year Jean!!! Wonderful as always.
Question… do you use indoor lighting for your indoor photography or do you just happen to always luck out and have a ton of natural lighting pouring in from the outside?
Dana…teehee…no, I don’t luck out any more than any other person with available light. With children and families, natural light is my first choice, but if it’s just not available, then I definitely use artificial light. I use either a 50×50 softbox or an umbrella. From left to right, up to down, images 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12, and 14 are all artificial light.
Looks like you’ve been busy! Love the little hands and toes, and mostly all of the laughter. Your images are my favorite!
I wish I could be the writer of this wonderful blog but I could not as Iām just a newbie and hopefully oneday I could write something.

PS Baby in white with little pink-trimmed blankie is my favorite! What a smile…
