Sometimes I go to work and realize…huh…I get to play for my job. And meet cool people. And make pretty art work for them. And then I think…huh…I am beyond grateful for awesome clients and this thing I call my job.

Holy crap (can I say that on here)!!! I had to look at these images ten times, because they just make me so happy. Here I go repeating myself, but capturing a family in THEIR environment, doing what they love, is just plain PRICELESS.

For me, this session sums up what family photography should be. A location they love, kids everywhere, dogs everywhere, parents hanging out, and them doing the things they love. I still think of her as little Miss Michigan as when I first photographed her (here and here). Holy MOLY, look at her now…all teenagery n stuff. I adore this beautiful girl, and am so happy to photograph her through the years. World, meet Vivian…

Every time I photograph this family, we just click. Maybe it’s all of those boys. You KNOW I know boys. Maybe it’s because they are just so easy going and fun. Or perhaps it’s that our sessions feel more like hangouts than work. Doesn’t matter, I adore them and they are awesome 🙂
