It’s not often you see a superhero family on the beach. So, when you do, you photograph them. Period. And then you keep photographing them because they are just so dang cute, fun, and love the crap out of each other 🙂

Meet the Halversons. Meet the Halversons in California at Balboa Park. HOLY MOLY, they are the most amazing family in the coolest location!

I believe this is the seventh time I have photographed them. Yeah, I think it’s safe to say we’re besties by now. BFFLE even. Oh, how I love them. Best friends, for like, ever. I know you were wondering.

Spent an amazing week on the beach with some of our best friends this summer. Finally getting around to going through the images from an afternoon on the beach. Makes me so happy and I thought I would share 🙂 Happy Monday!

Sometimes I go to work and realize…huh…I get to play for my job. And meet cool people. And make pretty art work for them. And then I think…huh…I am beyond grateful for awesome clients and this thing I call my job.

Holy crap (can I say that on here)!!! I had to look at these images ten times, because they just make me so happy. Here I go repeating myself, but capturing a family in THEIR environment, doing what they love, is just plain PRICELESS.

For me, this session sums up what family photography should be. A location they love, kids everywhere, dogs everywhere, parents hanging out, and them doing the things they love.
