Go ahead and settle in. This is a long blog post. But, it’s PARIS. With JOSH AND CARRIE AND ME in it.

Let me rewind.

“Hey Jean, I know you’re traveling around, and I’m not sure where you’ll be, but I am surprising Carrie with a trip to Paris at the end of September for our ten year anniversary, and would love to surprise her with a photo shoot there as well. Are you available and interested?”

“Well, Josh, it JUST so happens that I live four hours west of Paris, and we are leaving France via Paris at the end of the month, so our timing works perfect! And DUH, of course I would love to photograph you there!!”

That is the shortened version of our email conversations, but you get the point.

Rewind even more.

I first photographed Josh and Carrie five or six years ago with just them and their little pup. Since then, they have had two gorgeous daughters, and I have had the privilege of photographing their family several times over the years. So, going back to our “roots”, and just shooting the two of them again, IN PARIS, was quite amazing.

So, go ahead wives everywhere, swoon away…
