i should do an entire post on outtakes from my sessions. i love them dearly because they show real life (and they make me giggle). it’s true, folks…the secret is out…things aren’t always plums and fairies during a session.
i hope the parents don’t mind if i post a few of these outtakes from their session as it displays perfectly what my friend kirstynn calls “keepin it real.”
oh, and i had to add some “real” ones in as well. you know…to keep up appearances and all…

Love the 2nd picture. Totally reminds me of my 3 kids!! xoxo, Jen
These are beautiful! The first few are very funny. Sadly when I try to take pictures of my 3 year old that’s all I get anymore.
Hahaha, that is why I love you, Jean. I have seen that first one many times…a little hand coming for my lens. These are really beautiful, what a gorgeous family, too!
This is too funny! I love the family throwing the leaves. Real life pictures is what it’s all about!
What!!! You dare show out takes? LOL These are so classic and soooo real, the everyday of us photogs- I'm always in love with your images Jean, really it would be hard to pick a fav., just don't take the time to tell you always when I stop in for a peek, thanks for keeping it fresh & real 🙂
The “real” shots are my favorite…that’s life and that’s what we are capturing, right?
What a great post! I love keepin it real posts!!! I am overdue for a “K.I.R.” post! you have inspired me!
I love the one of the little girl crying in the wagon…I think some of the “duds” are often my favorites. I like getting my kids when they are crying…got to capture all the many faces:) Way to keep it real!
Oh my gosh these are so cute!! I adore the one of the little cutie in the wagon in tears- so real. Great session!!
Oh and to answer your question, I’m not selling my actions yet but since there is a demand I’m thinking about it in the future. 😉
I’m relieved to see your out takes. I was beginning to wonder if it was just my kids who couldn’t be perfect for a 1 hour photo shoot.
awww! love the 2nd photo! that is definitely a real moment.
These are so fun!!
awwwwwwww….is all I have to say. how do you capture such beautiful photos? the colors are breathtaking.
I just love/keep looking @ these. You are our “Jean-nie in the Bottle”. You do such magic 🙂
