At the end of the night, I watched Nick and Ashley’s guests form a human tunnel and laughed as Nick and Ashley and their guests danced their way through the tunnel, smiling and laughing the entire way through. I thought “OH MY GOSH, this is literally the happiest day of people’s lives.” Of course I then posted it on my Instagram stories and said “And THIS folks, is why I love photographing weddings.” It’s true, I’ve been photographing weddings for 12 years now and I still find so much happiness in capturing each unique wedding day.

Nick and Ashley were incredible to work with and we had the best time making our way through Detroit…from the GM Building to Eastern Market, then off to the Detroit Yacht Club via Nick’s family yacht. What a dreamy day! Congrats Mr and Mrs Batt!
