Bring it on Eastern Market! Laurel and I hosted the iheartfaces Photo Walk on Saturday and it truly was so much fun. I absolutely loved meeting the other photographers who came out and loved seeing how they viewed the world. That’s what makes this wonderful world of photography so wonderful…we all have cameras…but we all use them so differently. I love it.
As we were walking, talking, and taking pictures, I very quickly realized that I am definitely not a “thing” photographer. Geez…objects and things are hard to take pictures of! But, it was so fun to step outside of my “people” box and look at the world from a different viewpoint. If you can’t tell, I was a bit obsessed with the flowers…

Beautiful!
beautiful! Love them all, especially how the ballerina’s arms mimic the angles of the telephone wires 🙂
Hi Jean, Had a great time on Saturday. Thank you for hosting and volunteering your time to others-I really appreciate it. I can’t wait to see what everyone else has to post from the walk. Thanks again:)
I had a wonderful time on Saturday too. Thank you for always being so insightful!
I haven’t been to the market yet this year, but enjoyed viewing it through your eyes. I could get lost in your photos Jean and for a brief moment forget about my worries.
OUTSTANDING . . . i hope to participate the next time! 🙂
What AWESOME shots! I especially love that low f-stop focused on only one of the marigolds, and the one of Allie the ballerina leaping into the air. 🙂
love the shots, jean! it’s amazing to me how people can see the same object or individual, and yet find such different aspects to capture. thank you for all the tips and input at lunch. had a great time!
oooh…how fun! Great shots and what a unique way to explore…gonna have to try that someday!
