meet my friends kirstynn, joel, and their daughter, nora. these brave folk braved what i dare say is the coldest session i have ever had. where the icy winds came from, i will never know, because today was beautiful and sunny. that’s michigan weather for you…

if i run, i stay warm, and therefore i am happy!

Ahhh! Jean… you are really something else! I laughed out loud, and had to be quiet, because you know how grumpy Joel can get… these are so so great. I can’t believe that with about… 30 minutes of shooting, probablly less, you still had something to work with! Of course while Nora was running to you, I couldn’t see her cuteness! And when we fed her Milk Duds to perform… who knew they would make the CUTEST FACE EVER!!!! You are freakishly AMAZING! You really are spooky, and I can say that, because it is HALLOWEEN! There is not much more to say, besides, thank you! I LOVE YOU! THANK YOU!!!

I was “CP” in full glory. Shivering and blue lipped, detached, and un-cooperative. I had no hopes for this session. The pictures Jean took last year were phenomenal. Why try and top perfection? I argued we should send the same pictures on our cards this year. But, I have been proven a DOG. My heart melted, to see how beautifully and intimately Jean captured the joy Nora has and brings to our family. If all we got were these four pictures, our goose bumps would be an infinitesimal price to pay. Thank you Jean.

Ok so I’ve now looked at these pictures like 10 times and I’m still not sure that I have the words to express how fond I am of them. Maybe it’s my love for the family, maybe it’s my love for my most favorite photographer in the whole wide world but I feel a little speechless. When I look at them I get warm fuzzies all over. Phenomenal!
