my view of a shoot

Interested in a nutshell version of how I approach a shoot?  If so, continue on.  If not, continue on anyway just for the sake of making your trip to my blog worth the time.

I love my wide angles.  The shoot usually starts with a pulled out shot…

..immediately followed by a closeup.

I’m always on the lookout for interesting colors and textures.

Again, another wide angle…

…followed by a tighter shot.

After a few family shots, I focus on JUST the kids…

More wide angles with interesting colors and textures…

After I’m feeling good about the family and individual shots, I focus on the details…

And I always try to make sure I get a good combination of happy…

Soft and quiet…

and silly!!!
