Over the next year, rather than hop hotels, we decided to rent a home in each country we visit. Because, let’s be real, we’re a big family and we don’t really fit in a hotel. Plus, we wanted a HOME, with rooms, and a kitchen, and all of that good stuff that homes have. The homes we have chosen to live in are as important to us as the new foods we will try, the sights we will see, and the experiences we will have. We may be nomads (of a sort) for the next year, but each home will be OUR home and we want to remember each and every one. To make that happen, we decided to photograph our family in each of the homes we rent…kind of a little peek into our daily life. Of course these images don’t show any bickering, dirty dishes, or little ones running around in their roos, because we all know that never happens around our house…ahem.
We (we being mostly me) are completely obsessed with the restored chapel we chose for our stay in England. This home (as were the other homes we’ll be staying in) was found on airbnb.com…our new best travel friend.
